Cleanroom Laundry Professionals (CLP) was established in 2007, to fill the need for aseptic laundering of garments used in clean rooms / controlled environments, which is a unique and specialized service.

Cleanroom Laundry Professionals is based in Laser Park, Honeydew, Gauteng, where it operates from a custom-built clean room facility.

We have grown to incorporate additional services which are specific to the clean room industry, and now also offer:

• Training for clean room personnel.
• A decontamination & sanitation service for controlled environments.
• The supply of non-linting, antistatic clean room garments.
• Consulting service on general clean room issues and operations.

Wendy van der Walt is the Managing Member, who was previously the Quality Manager for Covidien (then known as Tyco Healthcare), a leading international medical devices manufacturer in the healthcare industry. She has a clear understanding of the regulatory and quality requirements relating to controlled environments, and her strengths lie in her knowledge of clean room protocols and operations, quality systems and process management. Since her initial involvement in 1996 in the clean room industry as Quality Manager, Wendy has had the opportunity to gain much experience and knowledge relating to clean room GMP, production/operations in a clean room environment, and related requirements.

The CLP clean room personnel are well trained and take pride in meeting and exceeding customer expectations. They have an excellent understanding of clean room GMP requirements, and ensure that rigid discipline is implemented at all times, to maintain both the ISO classification of the clean room environment, and the high level of service customers have come to expect.
